Webapp to optimize internal efficiency regarding DTP projects
For Decathlon, the largest sports store in the Netherlands, we designed and developed a custom web application. The purpose of this application was to optimize internal requests for informative communications, both online and offline. These requests can vary from banners to posters. Through the use of the user-friendly application, Decathlon employees can submit their requests directly and clearly to the design team.
Starting point— Context
Requests from Decathlon stores for posters, online banners and other forms of communications where handled via e-mail and telephone. To improve efficiency Decathlon was looking for a solution which resulted in a tailor made application doing just that.
Design & Build— Process
Less or More worked on the UX, UI and backend of the product. The final product was a custom web-application by which employees from Decathlon stores can submit requests for posters, banners and such directly to the design time, saving a lot of time and increasing user satisfaction.
Project highlights— Highlights
During the design and development process of the web-application, Less or More felt like a member of the Decathlon team due to the easy and informal way of communicating with each other. The process definitely benefited from this.
